sep. 14/15: formative writing task: 1 paragraph response using teeal: "what explains the rise of humans?"

Today, you will be looking at a sample paragraph written in TEEAL format. Afterwards, you will be writing a 1 paragraph response to the question: "What explains the rise of humans?" You are expected to use your notes (Unit 1 Cornell Notes QCI format Doc). This is a formative writing task.
Additionally, you will complete a self-assessment (highlight the rubric) and partner with a peer to read their paragraph (they will also read yours) and give/receive feedback.

Afterwards, your table group will pick an early/ancient civilization for a Shared Inquiry mini-research project you will work on next class time.
You will be given a list of civilizations to choose from (only 1 civilization/class; no duplicate civilizations within the same class).
