For today's final class on Exam Day, you will complete the Summative Take Action Reflection (it is a document that will be placed in your WH Drop folder). You will upload this to Schoology.

Afterwards, please complete this course/class survey to think back on some of the most memorable moments in class and what you'll take away from your year in a Freshman-level course of World History.

We will end today's class with a brief discussion on your memorable moments from this year's class.

May 15/16: Begin creating advocacy product

5/15/2017

By now you should have completed your Plan for Action and should have submitted this by uploading it to Schoology. If you have not done so, you need to do this FIRST before you begin working on your Advocacy Product.

Also, by now, you should have submitted your Advocacy Product choice to the Google Survey; if you have NOT done this, please do so now! Thanks!

Today in class you will be working on your Plan for Action (20% Final Exam Grade). This needs to be completed before you begin working on your Summative Advocacy Product (80% of Final Exam grade).

Please complete the following Google Survey
to indicate what type of Advocacy Product you plan to create.

TASK: You will create your final project to TAKE ACTION. The project design will be worth 20% of your final grade and assessed using the Research/Inquiry Rubric + Complexity, Creativity and Prep rubric. The rest of your final grade (80%) will come from the product/argument that you create to take action and will be assessed using the Argument Rubric adapted by you for your task (see below).

You will need to identify and analyze an important issue/problem faced by your endangered culture, take action on that issue, present your project to an authentic audience for feedback, and reflect on the effectiveness of your action.
