Today you will meet with the students for your other revolution (revolution #2). Your discussion will follow the same procedures as the revolution you discussed in the previous class time. Afterwards, begin drawing some comparisons to the 2 revolutions you are researching by listing these similarities and differences in the table provided for this within your research portfolio. This will help you begin to check whether you are understanding the nature of these revolutions and will help you better gauge whether you need to do further research or whether you are at the point to start finalizing your research.
We will continue the one-on-one teacher-student check-ins today to discuss your research process and the research portfolio. Check-ins will continue to be based on the sign ups for students who wanted to meet first. The goal is to meet with every student prior to the research portfolio being due on Dec. 7/8. Even if you did not sign up, you will eventually be meeting one-on-one with the teacher. Priority goes to those who signed up to request to meet.
