nov. 1/2: The Columbian Exchange (& OPVL Lesson)

Columbian Exchange: 

Today we will take a look at the exchange of products, people, culture, etc. during the Columbian Exchange. You will work within a group to create a Padlet of information, images, maps and details about various aspects of the Columbian Exchange.  Be sure to add a link to your Unit 2 notes for this Padlet so that you have access to it later in the unit should you need this information.  You will take one of your sources you found helpful that you used for the Padlet and add this source and information to your Unit 2 notes.

Evaluating Sources (CRAAP TEST & OPVL)

Today we will also learn how to evaluate our sources for their reliability and usefulness to our research. Mrs. Stewart will model evaluating a source (a Crash Course video) and going step-by-step through OPVL. And then you will practice this with one source you used today to make your group Padlet.
