HW: Due next class (Aug. 27/28):
​Research & gain deeper understanding of india partition

You can choose which of the articles, videos or audio recordings you want to use.  Feel free to use other sources as well (textbook, sources you find through Google Search-- just try to use reliable sources).
Come to the next class feeling confident that you understand the historical background, the different experiences and perspectives people had on the partition. 

There is not a need to spend more than 30-45 minutes on this homework task.
​Don't spend too much time on this unless you simply find it fascinating or have a personal keen interest in the topic AND have the time to do so.


You will have a formative writing assessment at the end of next class. This will be the first grade recorded in PowerSchool.
