Today we will explore the impact of the Age of Exploration. We'll learn a little bit about what led to what afforded sailors to explore further around the world, what their motivation was and how this began to drastically change the world based on new technology, new trade routes being established by Europeans (mostly Europeans) and new knowledge about previously unexplored areas.
We will also spend the last part of class allowing students to begin developing their historic timeline of their assigned endangered culture and looking at what was happening for this culture during the Age of Exploration (approx. 1500 - 1800).
