Today's class you should focus on investigating the "process" of how your selected revolution occurred. your questions should be about "how...?" and "who...?"
You should consider key individuals and groups involved in the process of bringing about revolutionary changes. And possibly counter-revolutionary groups (people who tried to stop or slow down the revolution). What actions were taken by groups or individuals to help bring about fast changes that ultimately occurred as a result of the revolution? Was technology or new innovation part of the process? What methods were used by people to bring about change? Process also might involve looking at a timeline... what happened & when? Then what happened after that? And then...?
The questions you'll need to ask to understand process differ for each revolution since some revolutions are social, political, economic, technological, environmental--they all had different causes, happened at different times in history and may have happened as a result of natural chain reactions or by very intentional and highly orchestrated efforts by people involved. But this is what you should spend time today investigating. You will be asked to partner up mid-way through class today to share with a partner what you have learned --or are learning about the process of your revolution. You are expected to show your partner what notes you have related to "process" of revolutionary change.
