You may present in any format you would like
-- Google Presentation, PowToons, etc. Here is a list of possible digital formats to present:

Here’s some examples of telling a story through photos:
  • Syrian Conflict Story using Showme.com

  • Photoessay: “Chaos on Hungarian-Serbian border” (photographer’s photos on Exposure.co)
Plan to either record your voice for narration or stand up and speak as you show the photos to your classmates. You will present this on Monday, Dec. 14th in front of class.
You may choose to tell the story in a variety of ways but keep it simple--remember this is formative and simply practice to help you prepare for writing the essay!

Today in class, you will use your completed research notes to try to now tell the story of the conflict through mind-mapping it out. This may also help you begin to think about your outline for pre-writing the essay. The essay due date has been changed to next Wednesday, Dec. 16th.  We are going to practice telling the story of your selected conflict in multiple ways between now and then. Monday & Wednesday, you will finish your research and begin to finalize your notes-- your list of sources used, notes you may want to use to help write your essay next week and your evaluation of your sources. I and Ms. Long will be meeting with you individually Monday or Wednesday to look at your progress and provide some guidance and feedback; I will add comments to your research notes document. Reminder: Summative notes are due Wednesday, Dec. 2nd (originally due today... I extended the deadline for you). Please be sure to look at the criterion descriptions so that you are ensuring your work reflects your ability to meet the summative task requirements at the highest level you are capable of achieving.  I will also be posting summary comments in ManageBac from our one-on-one meetings.
