week 4 - thursday - intro to ancient china: geographic factors influencing a civilization's development

Today we will begin our focus on ancient China and how geography played a factor in the development of China's ancient civilization. We will examine how different ancient dynasties in China overcame geographic challenges and used China's geography to their advantage. We will explore how Geography continues to play a role in modern China as well.
