OCT. 27: Folk + Pop Culture (cont.)
Today, we will start with a Gallery Walk of students' Cultural Identity presentations (developed last class).
Afterwards, we will continue with CH. 4 overview (presentation) in looking at why the distribution of folk and pop culture is uneven and the sustainability of folk culture--is it in danger of disappearing due to factors such as urbanization, globalization, and modernization?
