Oct. 24: Intro to Unit 3: Culture

Today we will look at Chapter 4: Folk & Popular (Pop) Culture to understand the differences between these types of culture traits. 

• You will also brainstorm examples of folk and pop culture in Singapore and in your own life.

Individual Task in Class: Develop a presentation (up to 4 slides or a photo-collage) of your own cultural identity that includes a mix of folk and pop culture traits you identify with as part of your own identity.  We will walk around at the start of next class and look at everyone's cultural identity presentations.
